a week from now Olivia and I will be in Florida!!!
I am not really looking forward to the long flight but excited to visit my brother and see my parents again. Last time Olivia was in an airplane I had hubby and a dear friend there with me to help out. And even though it was a very long flight to Brazil she was tiny and didn't walk yet. So looking back now I kind of had it easy. Right now she is a busy little girl that doesn't walk - just run! And then there is the changing diapers in a plane bathroom (I am sure some of you know what I am talking about) and the grumpy people that look at you like you're carrying a bomb ready to explode in your lap... the funny thing is: I love to travel and would do it more often if I could. :)
Also I finished two more blog makeovers this past week and I am really happy with the results. They have very different styles but both are clean and chic! if you want to check it out let me know what you think: MudMama & pureJoy :) I'll come back with sunny pics from FL...

OK... So when I travel with the little one, I walk to the back galley in the plane and change him there. Those plane bathrooms are too small for me let alone for me to change a diaper in them. Plus, they're gross!

Very beautiful girl! I remember the flight when we moved from Hawaii to Georgia with a one month old and a four year old .. it wasn't as bad as I expected! From MBC :)

Oh how fun for you! Oh, the days of being able to hold a little baby on your lap on the airplane! I find a backpack armed with everything you need, change of clothes, toys snack-you know the gig! And, I hate to say it, but a portable dvd player and movies helped us a ton with travel! (I put limits on tv at home, but on the road it is about survival! :) ) Thanks for the help with the awrds, I will find them and let you know what they are asap.
