while Sex and the City 2 did not received very good reviews; we decided to honor the fashion in the movie. Even though the price tags of the clothes are so high, and only the rich and famous can afford to buy them – it is always nice to remember the immortal Coco Chanel: "fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”

Wow! PRICEY! Maybe I'm just really naive, but I didn't think that the clothes in the movie were THAT expensive! Crazy!

Wow! But you know, the stuff is gorgeous, and fortunately SATC is so popular that other designers knock off the clothes, so it's pretty easy to find these styles for less (and my wallet breathes a sigh of relief!). Xo!

Yikes, love the clothes but the prices make me queasy (even though in theory I already "knew" they were that expensive).
ReplyDeleteSomeone should do a study and have people watch the movie and other people watch it with these little price tags attached the whole time, and compare people's feelings on the characters, storyline, writing, etc...!

I actually enjoyed the movie a lot with the girlfriends. I laughed a LOT and had a fun time!
