this past week i finally convinced my lil girl to cut her hair down. it took me weeks, even months, to explain to her that princesses can also have a short'do. you see, her hair was getting way beyond middle back and the routine to clean it, tie it and sleeping with it was getting a little out of control for a three year old. but amongst rapunzel, ariel and all the other very lengthy hair girls, i managed to show her a beautiful princess that did the trick: amelie poulain. it was an instant hit ;)

Cute cute cute! I love it! Amelie definitely is a great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteShe's sooo cute! My little one has out of control hair that she doesn't like to have fixed, and she has been asking if she can cut it "short, like her dad's" I'm tempted to let her.
ReplyDeletethat's funny ;) olivia was on the same note for the longest time, wanting to be a big boy like her dad... but then after a few princess movies she changed her mind and all we had was this big messy hair in and out of the house.
DeleteShe looks lovely!

I love her hair! She looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to convince my daughter to cut her hair shorter too. She hates having it combed, and it's so long now.
She does look like a young Amelie! I am so glad she had that to look forward to, Disney Princesses are not dreamers if you really think about it.
ReplyDeletelike it ;)

ReplyDeleteaww darling, she looks happy!
ReplyDeleteYeah just today I told Beli, "I need to brush your hair and put a ponytail," she said no. then I said ok I will have to cut your hair short. she said like Daddy? ( he is balding) I said yes, then she obliged! Don't know if that's the best trick but it works!
