one is blooming in full pink.
the other still sleeps but it will pop in white pretty soon.
this one gives us sweet cherries later in the season.
love them both. deep in my heart.

We have a flowering cherry in our front yard that is always so pink and beautiful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to take advantage of smelling and ogling and photographing all of the blossoming trees- because I know soon they will have all of their pretty petals on the ground!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love cherry trees!! They are so beautiful when they come into bloom, I only wish it would last longer. A girlfriend of mine went back home to Japan very recently and visited/took photos of a 2 mile stretch of road in Kyoto where the cherry trees literally form a tunnel over the road. Lanterns are strung underneath the trees and at night time all you see is pink illuminated under pitch black. It's absolutely gorgeous!! And when the blossoms turn and fall... she said it's like walking in pink snow ;)
