this past week I managed to finish up the invitations for my daughter's birthday party. And I might be more excited for the coming date than her. not only the party and cake but the growing big and becoming a person 'thing' that happens to these little ones once they start leaving childhood. it is seriously a mix of feelings, where happiness for getting to know such special human beings that you created yourself share space with a bit of sadness for having to say goodbye to the baby you once held in between your arms.
but happiness always wins - and we'll be celebrating in big style with a pool party and lots of friends.
I am really thrilled with the way the prints came out. I used paislee press digital template for the design and simply loved the color palette and the portrait style. will share more on the coming weeks... happy monday !!

This post just made me realize the scariness that will ensue after my little one turns 4 this year. Only one more year until school?! How??
ReplyDelete@hollie, scary for sure. the thought of school and the big yellow bus makes them all big and independent ;)

ReplyDeleteSo cute. My little lady is only 5 months, but I can already feel the bitter sweetness of her growing up. I am loving learning all about her and discovering her little personality, but at the same time I can already tell that it goes by way too fast.
ReplyDeletewhat a shining personality! she's darling :)
