on art.

July 18, 2012

I have finally started to get my wall gallery up. a wish that's been on the to-do list for way too long and I couldn't be happier with my first purchase - pictured above/ from mai autumm's amazing etsy shop. this art sums up my love for watercolors, birds and stars. and it also gives me a sense of looking up - higher to the One that gives ♥

today is kitchen remodel day three - and things couldn't be messier. can't wait to have the floor down and a meal at home again.

and if you're interested on having new social buttons for your blog, go visit adorable Sarah over at total basset case for your chance to win.

hope you're all having a great busy week

  1. I love your choice of art and the philosophy behind it ! The fact that you want to look up to the Higher, is really a good intention.
I do painting myself and thanks for introducing me to the etsy artist. Her work is really very fine and delicate.
    have a nice day !

  5. Lovely print! :-)

Oh, I´m sorry I forgot to answer your question before - good you reminded me! It´s called "Swedish Grace" and I have it in both blue and white. Love it! I know there´s webshops outside Sweden who has it, it´s a classic and well known for that reason. :-) Just google it and I´m sure it will pop up! :-)

  6. CUTE!!! I was talking to my coworkers about watercolors today! A art form I can only appreciate because I really suck at it.

Good luck with the kitchen, can't wait to see photos!

  7. Art? On Wall?!? I should try that!!! Ha! Since moving into our new house, any pictures that are up are there simply because there was an existing nail on the wall & I needed to keep the artwork/photo safe. And even then the total comes to about 5 pieces. Perhaps I'll follow your example & get to it myself. ;)

  13. Congrats on getting your art up. It's so easy to put things like that off. :) I should know, I've been putting it off for awhile now. But I'm committed that when we move in 3 weeks we'll settle in for real and hang our art this time.
